cant rush a proper job mate and yup its bin awhile
 
its gunmetal mate, very close in colour to the galv chassis, its a two pack matt finish , unfortunitly i was from an industrial paint suppliers a while ago so has no lable left on the tin, i kno hammerite do a version too, expect to pay for it tho, think it was £50 ish for a 2ltr, will see if i can find the paper work later
 
well, windscreens on now and glazed and quite a bit or wirings gone in today along with the excelerator rods and linkage, few dash fittings, wing nuts and vent flaps etc

left the camra down the workshop so .... pics to come,

will be re skinning the doors tomorrow and spraying them along with sandblasting the tail gate and a few other bits,

yours is lookin good now johnny, feel better about a project once yer can see the end result , like me, cant wait to get it on the road now

I was wondering if you can remember the size of bolts you used to fix the engine to the stand?

I need to mount mine soon, and it'd save my having to try different ones.

psssst - there's a couple of rusty boxes to the right of the genny that aren't sat straight on the shelves - tis making your shop look messy

dunt you start ...... i had storm round last week moanin about me wonkey cappings :D

thems rusty boxes are full of rusty old tractor spanners. them snail brand adjustables etc
