I'd be grateful if someone could advise when the vertical side lights came out on the S2 - i haven't seen them before. Was it just for the last few S2a?

thanks , not had much time recently with work etc but hoping to get back on track with it soon, its taken hundreds of hours but will be well worth it in the end

Quick question, you retained the Free Wheeling hubs it seems? Were they original? Excuse my ignorance.
Mine ('76 109) has them as after market, and I will probably leave them off when I redo the hub oil seals, as I can't get the orings and don't do enough miles to warrant keeping them really.

cheers ,has been a lot of work to get this far, the free wheel hubs i think wer after market units but they were sound so i decided to use them again
they would no doubt have been standard hubs , same front and back
will post some more pics as i get a bit more done

well as promised , at long last iv started to cobble it all back together again , after fitting the shockers
i masked up and sprayed the wheels the same day as i shotblasted them ,
few other bits i have cleaned up
engine dropped in lovely , about time ....
engine stand adapters off now,
clutch housing adapter plate on,
flywheel and clutch fitted,
gear box in
front panel and radiator test fit ,
bulkhead test fit
wiring going in slowly between the rain ,
ready to fire up
fool tank and pipes all ready , just need spraying with enamel and copper fool lines forming and fitting,
