well prehaps not..looks like i will be the first to try and get it to talk to the bosch autobox ecu...(though autobox ecu just needs engine speed to work ,but not properly.will need to find out how autobox ecu asks for torque reduction on gear changes, and then recieves torque reduced data from gems ecu (now ms2) even phil of efiextra says that will be interesting..(he writes the firm ware for ms)..but he willing to write ms data to acomdate once i work it out..assuming it can be done..

thing is gems/bosch ecu;s use seperate dedicated lines to send and recieve torque data reduce comands...if i REALLLLY lucky then its that line just going to gnd or +ve, though that is unlikly
autobox ecu would also like to know engine torque at anytime....i think thats based on engine speed and injection length signals..rave is abit vague ..lol
 
3 days off and no bloody ecu!!
gonna av to amuse myself with shagging den...then prehaps installing autobox ecu and wiring and general cab tidying up...so want to here brb fire up!

now waiting for ms to arrive..should av just gone ms to begin with..laptop hard drive fecked up...lost allllllllllllllllllllllllll my info downloaded for last 2 yrs...
all my ms tunes etc, pics..etc....

Zen, sorry to hear about your laptop but don't chuck it away just yet.
There are data recovery centers that specialize in recovering the stored data from the sectors of damaged hard drives. Google for one of such places closest to you and you might just get back about 90% of your stored data depending on the extent of damage to the drive.

made and installed engine oil pressure /temp take offs and autobox oil temp sender today..

autobox wiring almost done..engine wiring done..just waiting for megasquirt to turn up now.
 
UPDATE..

plugged in the gems ecu (modded)..connected up the fuel pump the right way..doohhh!

BRUMMMMMMMM..blub blub blub....

then stoppy..ecu blew up again!!! so the link to all car electrics becm gizmo is crap...its going back again!!no spark..

two coolent leaks found...looks like a crushed the top heater hose from engine to heater..thats gonna be a pain to replace!!and looks like the water pump gasket is weeping!!!!
power steering reservoir over flows when engine stops!!but there is not enough fluid in system as steering not working and power brakes not efficent, plus pump screaming for fluid...not sure whats going on here..prehaps i need to raise height of reservoir??

re ecu..this turned up today..so gems ecu going back for refund!

...the modded gems ecu blew up before i got my phone to record!

however...water pump removed, and gasket replaced..

Feckin heater hose removed (after 4 hrs!!) TIP..when fitting heater hoses make sure jubille clips are facing passenger side!really really make sure!!
