Adrian Flux Insurance - Click Here to get a quote!
OK... here's one for you to take to your bosses then Mr. representative of Adrian Flux, if you please... sir

I have a 1966 Rover P5 MKIII 3 litre Petrol car, it's valued at over 5 grand, i can do several thousand miles a year, and my last policy (vehicle is currently SORN), was about 124 quid, oddly enough, from FLUX.

Then i have a 1970 Rover P5B coupe, 3.5 litre... again, Worth way more than 5 grand, again, with several thousand miles allowed per year, and again, fully comp insurance for less than 150 quid.

My RR is a 1998 2.5 diesel... i have almost a decade of NCB, i can't commute to work as the bus garage is at the end of my road and parking is not possible, so i get to drive it once or twice at week max, as i do lots of rest day work as a bus driver.

Why do i need a second mortgage to get insurance with you guys?

The cars book value is £3,390.00, yet i only paid a grand for it, and i don't mind agreeing to a £1,000.00 excess.

I'm far from perfect when it comes to driving, but i don't drive it that much, and i'm not what you'd call a boy racer, so what gives?

You sponsor this here forum page, but what exactly are you doing for forum members?

If you could stop and take us seriously then you'd be king of the RR / LR insurance market.

Yes, from time to time owners do go silly, but that's only going to be at specific off-road events, and it's not as if we can make a claim because something gets broken while being silly now is it.

Mongo,

Feel free to PM me your details and i'll take a look at your details.

Unfortunately we are not going to be competitive on every occasion, if we were, there would be no other insurance company out there!

Hi,

By all means if you have read the terms and conditions page and meet the criteria, follow the instructions to claim your vouchers. :)

Hey Jordan,

I followed the instructions to claim and received a letter this week thanking me for returning my insurance paperwork for my Landy!? No comprendy, I was wanting a voucher because you couldn't beat the quote on my Ford Focus. With the letter you returned the schedule for the Ford that I had sent showing a cheaper price than you could do.

What's doing?

Thanks,

Dom

£529.00 is NOT a good quote Jordan... It's a more expensive quote than SIX other companies when using a COMPARE website.

And you don't rate a car a classic until its 20 years old, which begs the question, what will have changed in five years from now? Aside from me and my car being five years older of course.

Comparison (Aggregator) quotes are a whole different ball game.

They often miss administration fee's, legal cover, the majority will only offer a lower level of cover and won't cover things like off roading.

By all means if you are looking to just get the basic cover to make a vehicle road legal - They can be fine. But if you are looking for a good level of cover (Bearing in mind we offer free legal cover, free off roading cover, like for like cover on modifications too)

I have also managed to find you a considerably cheaper quote that I have PM'd you.

With regards to the age of a vehicle to qualify, it again all depends on the vehicle. There are a number of factors taken into consideration to qualify for 'Classic' insurance other than just the age of a vehicle.

If you have any further issues regarding your quote please PM me rather than posting in this promotional thread.

Thanks

While flux may sponsor landyzone, the mentality is the same time and again, I would never insure my landy with them from prior experiences of flux other associates have had.

Lol try this
35
8+ years no claims
Anything up to 7.5 tons as many as I wish and direct access to MID
No supercharged
Protected ncd
Sub £1000

Where do I collect my £20 because flux can't quote, maybe I should phone, record the call and post on YouTube? With excuses of why they won't give £20 voucher!

:bump2::whoosh::D

I'm only human & doing the best I can to support you guys :)

I don't doubt that Jordan

But you lot are not cheap by any means I've never had an accident
Over your ten year ncb threshold
Yet your still hundreds of pounds more expensive on a Standard car with a limit of 10k
Low risk area own off road parking no kid etc etc

Need I say more

I do find it strange how you can suddenly get a cheaper quote for mongo what's changed ?
Less completion I suppose:rolleyes:

I reckon razor thin margins, up selling and administration fee for slightest change.

Oh I can appreciate your point of view & I really wish I could say to you guys yes i'll make sure we can compete with every single customer that comes our way, but in a real world it just doesn't happen.

I talk to a lot of you guys & arrange some fantastic deals that leave people saving hundreds of pounds - Others I have to come back with my tail between my legs apologising that we can't compete.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, if we had underwriters that could compete with every risk that comes our way, we would be the only insurer out there - It's the same with everything in life.

I always go out of my way for you guys and spend literally hours phoning different underwriters to try and get the lowest possible premiums and different things covered, but unfortunately sometimes we have to just say fair play to the competitors and that we're unable to compete.

Again I really am sorry that we can't always help, we take comments on board and rest assure I am trying to get some even better deals for 2014.

If anyone has any further issues please give me a PM and I will do everything I can to be of assistance.

Have a great new year guys

Thanks

Jordan
