I waved at a yellow non standard Defender, at the beach in Holyhead earlier, I was walking, in case it was anyone from here that had got lost, and was wondering who the hell was waving at them.

i did have on my drive into dyce last week in my 90 (my daily is off the road atm) have a man in a big Jgas tanker waving like a loon at me .....- i tend not to wave if im driving my van....
I wave at all defenders and series people (even people in works vehicles) and tricked up discos and rangies. I ride bikes and wave at all bikers and i used to drive a Reliant Robin and waved at all those i saw too. I guess i'm just a bit wavey
I always feel sad when I see a really nice landy while out in one of the work vans Saw a really nice camel trophy 110 yesterday driving through cambridge. Almost missed my traffic light cause i was staring

results:
All gaylanders i saw were driven (?) by wimmin. about 8 of 'em. none waved, most didn't even notice me in a proper landy
Waved at 2 defenders. got 1 wave back, one funny look.
1 rangie, woman at wheel, no wave offered or received.

My gf used to take my landy out all the time, she loved waving at other la dies (under strict orders only defenders, series, and old muddy ones) .... She did spend a lot of time banging on about wanting to meet new people too.... I should probably check up on that
i allways wave and salute other landrovers most wave back .apart from range rover owners who just blank me or they reach for there mobile phone to ring the police in fear of being car jacked! .All jokeing aside we should wave at each other .I think all landy owners are proud of what they drive no matter what it is
Half the population of where I live have a Land Rover.If I waved at 'em all then I would look more of a complete cock than usual.
I wave to all my neigbours in their Landys ('cus thems me neigbours) and the blokes down the road with 'jizzed' up Discos ('cus they have jizzed up Discos). I also wave to the other folk in the village who have Landys if I know them ('cus I know them). I even wave to my slitty driving neigbour ('cus he's a neigbour too) ohh and me mates with Gaylanders ('cus even a poof needs a wave now and again to feel secure). Not forgetting the community copper in his 110 on account of the fact that a) he is the community copper b) he has a police 110 c) I know him.
Used to have VWs golfs and air cooled beetles, and always waved and waved back, Got a mitsi Challenger and i don't think ive had a single wave in 6 months, Had the landy two or three weeks and its like being back in the dubs, If its got the green oval and shaped like a bread bin then its a wave, Got to say i havent seen many new ish ones but the ones i have seen kinda look at me as if ive gone out,
Did get a special wave from a foreign BMW driver this avo as he tried to cut me up on a round about then looked up and saw me grinning and then he relied what i was thinking, Lowered BMW raised 90
I wave last one was funny was a copper that thaught I was warning him about a speed camera van he thought I was nuts when I explains the waving thing to him.
