Could make something like that, with or without the plaque? Haha, need some better res images really though, i'll have a scoot on google.

Are there mounting points already under the plastic covers?

Wouldn't want the plaque lol........it somehow attaches to a gutter type rail under the plastic cover.

Hmm, will have to look when i work out how to get the cover off without breaking it! Am sure there'll be a way to lock them into place, short of welding them on

I'd be interested in some under body protection if it makes it to production (oh and a ladder).

I'll definitely get things into production soon, the more interest there seems to be the bigger kick up the arse it gives me to take my car apart!

Should be moving into a new unit this week, so i'll have more space to do things.

Spare wheel mounted ladder like the mantec one? Been looking at doing that but didn't think anybody else would want one except me!

Spare wheel ladder is Safety Devices, not mantec one (mantec makes ladder for FL2) ;)

3 dr light bar from G4 mounts are drilled (so you need to make additional holes in roof) and fixed inside cabin simmilar to roof rails (2 bolts on each side + 1 hole for wires on RH, A Pillar)

Getting myself confused with the mantec fl2 one I've been looking at lol.

Does anybody know how much the safety devices one used to retail at?

Would people want the two shaped sections on the back of the ladder which rest against the wheel? I'd probably need to make them in 2 sizes to cater for those who have oversized tyres as the standard one looks quite tight to the top of the spare wheel.

I Was looking last night at mounting the light bar without having to drill any holes in the roof apart from the wiring, although drilling mounting fixings into the roof would certainly make it cheaper.
Would people just want to wire up the lights themselves or have a full wiring harness provided?

I got over sized wheels (205/80/16) and there is no problem with it

There is also some free space to fit slight larger wheel.

Those images are a massive help thank you!

Do you have the light bar fitted to your Freelander too?

No, i use a SD roof rack from G4 , but I was helping with FL fitted with lightbar, and it have identical fixing as shown (and used for rails)

If you need some more photos let me know ;)

I'll have to take you up on that offer I think, as it'll save me a lot of time! It's a shame you're located were you are as it'd be ideal to see your car! I'll pm you my company email after work and if you'd send me those pics in high res first that'd be excellent. Thanks.

Don't fancy drilling my roof lol

Neither do i!

I'm sure i can come up with a 2 piece hinged mounting which locks with a couple of stainless allen bolts or something, its just getting the bar to remain flat and solid when fixed to that little channel.

Or i could offer a fitting service for the bar and drill your roof for you lol

That was 4 months ago, unlikely to be anything left....

Just a bonnet and 2 light pods left from that first lot. Had some guy from Denmark take the rest. My fibreglass guy is too busy to make any more stuff at present as he's taken on a very large order for a well known Land Rover parts supplier. So unless I can find a suitable manufacturer that is local to me, I can't say when the next lot will be ready. This has really become a pain as I've had lots of interest.
Just a few pics to show how good they look. The fibreglass bonnet on the blue V6 also has RR Sport vents in it.
