On Quest just now and Quest +1 at 10pm.
Putting an electric motor into a Defender and keeping it 4x4.
Engine and gearbox out and replaced etc.
Worth a watch.

Interesting program but standard defender steering and brakes with that much power. I'm not that brave.

I missed the start and am watching on quest +1 for the missed bit.
A silent Land rover sounds good.

Does that mean you can hear parts falling off & rust forming as you drive ?

It means you could hear the missus talking. I’ll stick with tdi for that reason alone.

Still have the regular water ingress though. I though on Fifth Gear Very Hot Butter demonstrated a Electric Defender on a rough terrain course.

I enjoyed the rebuild.
Better if it was a longer show and more mechanical work but good still the same.
Saw a few other rebuilds and the whole series is worth watching.
