Hi guys, a search didn't help on here but I need to know PDQ whether when I fit my new battery on my Freelander Td4 I need to reset a fuel cut off thingy?, and if so where will I find it in the engine bay?.
Cheers in advance.
P.s. I've ordered a Beemer crankcase oil breather and I can't see whereabouts on the engine that goes either, any help appreciated.

I was expecting to have to reset the fuel valve on refitting the battery but to my surprise the car started up and ran fine, would still appreciate finding out where the crankcase oil breather can be found though ;-)

At the back of the engine bay under the top cover that the oil filler cap sits over, just in front of the air filter, is the housing for the oil breather.

The fuel cut off is behind the fuse box and ECU in the engine bay passenger side. I think it only operates when knocked.

Fantastic, many thanks all of you for your help, the radio is one thing I don't need to worry about, I changed the factory cd unit for the Kenwood head unit from my Golf Gti.

Theres a few threads on the breather mod on here worth a look before you do it , I am doing my mates this week end if hes got the part :)
