Does anybody know of a company, that can update the car config file in the body control unit on a 07 vogue. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

What exactly are you trying to achieve?? There are companies out there that provide diagnostic packages to access the ECU's in the car. As I said, what are you trying to do??

I have taken a complete logic7 audio system with rear entertainment out of one 07 vogue and fitted it into another 07 vogue. Everything works fine exept the Rear entertainment. I kind of expected it not to work as these things usually need some sort of programing or activating. I have a friend at Landrover and it has been on their computer, we believe that the car config file needs to be updated to switch on the rear entertainment Unfortunatly Landrover will not allow their Dealerships to do this?

You want to find a good independent specialist with a Rovacom/Faultmate system with all the latest updates. I believe this SHOULD be able to help you, however I don't own a L322 so don't know them as well as the P38.

Yes, you need to enable it in the cofiguration files, if its not enabled then you wont see the "rear entertainment" button on the touch screen, if the button is there then there is another fault.

No doubt your mate has done this, have a look in "display and/or modify vehicle configuration" on IDS, if the rear entertainment is not there then it's a byte number that needs to be changed, to get to this you need a seed code, the only way to get this is to fax or email land rover the code on the IDS screen and they will reply with the code to match your code, this code will change if IDS is turned off or the session is ended so it's important to leave IDS on and connected untill you receve the reply from land rover.


You will also need to know what byte number needs to be changed and to what, only land rover technical will know this!!!!

The P38 and the BeCM config etc etc all sounds so simple and easy to understand in comparison!!
