Hello All
Can I just ask your thoughts on 235.55.17 on my freebie one? running standard no lift or spacers
Need to be sure these will fit before I go to order them up.....Cheers

I've fitted 225/65 17 very successfully.
They are 28.5 inch diameter which puts the speedo right. They are 8.9 inch width.

They are within 1/4 inch of the suspension spring cup.
A 235 is 0.4 inch wider although you want 55 ratio. 0.2 each side say.
My view is you will be using 0.2 inch of the 0.25 clearance and it is a bit tight for comfort.

Others may have done it. The spring cup is the problem before arches and liners etc.

I have Geolanders on 3 Freelanders. Very good all rounders. Quiet, nice tread pattern, good in wet and as off road as I go!!!
Give kwik fit mobile a call. They match or beat any price and were also the cheapest when I bought mine.

Cheers Guys,I got the geolanders being fitted tomorrow afternoon ,looking forward to that
Get some decent tracks, rather than those race car looking things that are on there now.

Andy
They had problems with getting 4 tyres but managed to get me a set of 5 Generals all terrains
Must say they do look a treat, transformed the looks of the car with the extra profile glides over the local potholes now
They were fitted at a local place "Adams and page "
