Good morning all, It's that time of the year again, that I need to MOT my series 2A.
The handbreak is playing against me, this time. From the transferbox, through the nut and washer, there's oil seeping thru, which affect the quality braking. any advise would be much appriciated.

See photo.

it would only effect hand brake ,leaks at rear drum can be seal (and flange surface were seal runs ),play in the bearings allowing movement and felt washer can be resealed with silicone behind the steel washer instead of felt washer

James,

Thanks for that, but forgot to mention, did that already. will try again, just before MOT, to get it through, but the problenm stays.

it would need to be oil free for silicone to work ( a tin of brake clean etc would help )and needs to be enough to fill end of splines in flange ,is it rear seal too?

James,
it's not the rear seal. that one is okay. Only the splines. Will take a shot this weekend to do so. Thanks again
