Rear winch mount done tonight

Mandatory welding picture :p

Just gotta buikd up the winch and wire up now.

Also picked up my new wheels, a heavy duty track bar and a few other little bits from paddocks to sort smaller issues out :)

9 days to get finished

Ah right, the treps dwarf them :D

Are they 265/75/16?

Also going to 15" on the treps?

Aaaaand any feedback on the kaiman please? Was looking at them in 33x12.5x15 and thinking :)

I should be thinking 35s but it's just that bit too much on a disco, I don't want to go sky high and CBA with the bodywork it would need otherwise

235/85 :)

no the treps are 35/12.5/16 bloody monsters !!!

he kaimans were very good ! Quite hard sidewalls though which means they dont flex as much on low pressures but theyre strong so 6 of 1 half dozen of another ... aeesome side wall tread too .... well untill you compare them to treps :p

Go for 35's ;) theyre not That much bigger :eek:

I have the same size 235 x 85 Kaimans on mine, Sam, they were on my Disco too .. can't fault them! I'll be buying them again, but haven't looked how large they go, I like the idea of 35's but not bothered about going much wider. I'm of the impression that their skinniness helps with the grip!

I guess 35 x 11.5 would be a good compromise .. :)

Yeah skinny is best but im a sucker for girth and that's that :D

Anyway good to hear they are a good option

Thanks chaps

Lightbar fitted tonight :)

Should be able to bomb around the welsh woods at full chat now with impunity :D:D

Cheers for the suggestion james :)

Nice! Make sure your winch bitch has sunglasses. Not joking, last night section I did almost everyone with those light bars was wearing sunglasses because it absolutely blinds you if you have to turn towards the truck

this is turning out to be one mean truck ayre

love the light bar - i met a lad over the west coast of scotland in september who had LED light bar on the roof , LED headlights and LED fogs up front.

i saw him coming towards me from a mile off , his lighting set up cost more than my truck though!
