New axle bolted to the a frame and put in an apporxinate position

Approximate position of the rear arm although it will be higher (fowling on the current mount)

Tyre position ... I was pleasantly surprised where it sits :)

Although they have a massive offset differnce to the front :)

Next make some boxes for the radius arms and get it all set up :D

Trailing arm brackets done !!

Just gotta do the shock mounts and filler plug and rear axle is done :D

Just after a qyick flex by hand and up and down on the jacks its a MASSIVE improvement over standard :D as ive now got unlimited up and down movement :D

Shocks on and set up for full travel :D spings on just gotta do the filler plug and the internals are ready to go in after setting up the diff :)

Then just gotta sort the brakes and switch tyres :)

Does a d2 rear casing take a regular long nose diff?

Aren't they short nose in the rear as standard??

Ah ha now I see

Also late 110s had short nose?

They were 4 pin?

D1 & D2s have "Long nose" 3.54 Diffs, some have 3 x bolt drive flange a la donut / some have more / better 4 bolt type, both interchangeable.

P38 RR and rear axles of TD5 110, 127 130s etc have 3.54 but short nose diffs, which are completely different.

P38s have Short nose 2 pin diffs front and back, the 4.6 P38 and TD5 110+ etc have 4 pin short nose diffs

From nige :)
