Im looking to buy a cheapy lift kit for my 300tdi to get a bit more under arch clearance for my wheels/tyres but on a budget like most.
Already searched and read up on the usual questions/horror stories of it all but to be honest looks like the luck of the draw with cheap kits.. some end up breaking within 5 minutes some within 5 years.
The main question is does anyone use the britpart supergaz 40mm kit on their 300 for towing/motorway use? This being the one -
Landrover Discovery 89-98 40mm Suspension Lift Kit With Shocks D Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order.
Only ask as i use the landy for towing cars on a car trailer sometimes and was wondering if they will be heavy duty enough for the job?
I know you can get blue springs with pro comp dampers but aswell as being 50 quid more, the pro comp shocks dont seem to be rated very well atall...
Anyone who has actually used this kit on their 300 for towing/load carrying your input would be appreciated
