Thank God I not damaged anything. She booked in for 2 other tyres todayVery good. That's probably what saved your IRD from failure, while the tyres were wrong.

Wet grass test????It is possible, although unlikely, that the VCU has failed in "Mondo" mode. Wet grass test will check that .
yes.... basically get the car on wet grass and floor it. check that VCU locks up and transmits drive to rear wheels.Wet grass test????
Now it will answer all and be fun doing lolyes.... basically get the car on wet grass and floor it. check that VCU locks up and transmits drive to rear wheels.
yu mean one of the famous "2wd VCU"sEither that's a dodgy recon unit, a recon unit tailored to transmit a lower level of tiorque, or the guy at GKN missed a few plates out when he put that VCU together. 20 seconds on a VCU, especially one that's not new, is to quick.
Awww well I got rid of drone/vibration we other tyres on.
Took on grass all wheels together
And done reverse in full lock all okay
Think all take up to mechanic I no and get him check it as I not 100% clued up on this
Will try with 5kg .Just glad I starting to understand how it all works.Sounds OK to me. I imagine your mechanic will also be at a loss, unless he's well up VCU drive trains.
Try the OWUT again but use 5Kg at 1.2M. You'll find it gives about 30 seconds for the 45° rotation, which is perfect.
