Ahh, I stood around smiling awkwardly for 10 mins or so, and then retreated

That was us last year. We had a Slaughtered Lamb moment ( stick t rooooads) which turned awkward. Next year you'll be fine and will be like me. Forgot everyone's name and who they were on the forum but just tapped away anyway.
I think I even scared BB who had that wtf and shifty eye 'help' look when I talked to him. But I was happy anyway :D

I always look like that

I have the slightly dubious superpower of losing the ability of coherent thought and while it is powerful it's not always easy to use as a force for good :D

I think it was a good job Rosie was there. It wouldn't have looked good you leaping over chairs, with dog, to run away from me. Lol

Oh well, I tried. :)

I liked your twinkly lights. It looked dead posh and out did my incy flags. Me and Rosie we're going to nick them in the night but thought it might be too forward and upset you.

Next year then :D

Haha, the reason we had the lights was because I happened to mention to Sarah that people had flags on their tents as we were wandering around Sainsburys. She was upset that I hadn't given her any time to prepare, so we bought some solar lights. So it is kind of your fault! I thought the flags were good.

The lights worked really well actually, made it a lot easier to find the tent after some beers, or on the way back from the toilets.

Edit: and no I would have found it funny if the lights ended up on someone elses tent

See! I told you Rosie! . ( we were just going to blame someone else's dogs as Rosie zig zagged across the field as the thief)

Well next year!

Flatlander. In case you hadn't noticed Id had a few beers and could quite happily have also talked all day about Greek poetry and pastries. Both of which I know nothing about.
I was so happy to finally meet someone that I lost all sense of time and burned my burger.
Nice to have met you and your lovely lady.

:D haha i'd forgotten about that... next year i'm setting up next to someone with a fire, but you were too far from the loos for my liking...

I had fairy lights inside my tent, not having any of you lot putting your grubby paws on my tinklies!

Yep that's exactly what I shall do next time.

You came to talk to me and BB about 12.30 sat night...

you said 'erm are you BB, and you're rosie' and we said 'yes' and then you turned round walked off

Our Liverpool and North Wales friends had a great fire :D, I think we were sitting round it until about 2 in the morning

Um did I? I thought I was asleep by then Sorry if I did. I still don't know what you look like.
I remember speaking to BB (as I'd already met him when laning) about my username after winning a few bits on the raffle.
I'm going to have to blame it on the beer and excitement.
