i doubt its the head, when these crack they normally put fuel into the oil but its rare and they will still run anyway, are all the pipes on the right way? the order from left to right when looking in the boot is white, green ,blue, black, can you hear the pump squealing when you turn the ignition on? if not then you need to check feeds and earths. if the pump is running but not getting fuel to the fuel block on the head, have a look at the filter head as follows:- looking at the filter side on through the wheel arch, remove the pipe on the left nearest you (white cover). undo the brass union (19mm) and take it out, remove the white air bleed thingy and have a look at the seal and see if its damaged, make sure the white air bleed thingy doesnt fall to bits, if it does, replace the union (it comes as a kit). i have seen it where all this is ok but its still the filter head thats nackered and fuel just circulates round the filter and and back to the tank, normally though, the pump will squeel its nuts off
