So I started the car this morning, slight smoke out the back but ran fine. Drove roughly 1 mile down the road and it started misfiring and wouldnt go above 30mph no matter what gear I was in.
I managed to pull over on the side of the road, the car then died... After many attempts & a jump off my wifes car, it finally started again but ran very rough and would only drive at roughly 10mph.
I pulled onto a car park where I tried to listen out for the fuel pump whirring noise but no noise at all from fuel pump area.
I did the auto purge (ignition on and pump accelerator multiple times) quite a few times and it started first time with no misfire and was able to make it roughly 3/4 of a mile back until it lost power again.

Checked fuel pump relay - all good.
New fuel pump ordered and collecting tomorrow

I managed to get it home on the drive, now won't start at all.
I took the fuel pump out and emptied it.. then just tested the pump whilst it was out the tank and it seemed to work(sounded rough), I put it all back together again and the fuel pump seemed to whir and gurgle slightly but now there is no noise again from the fuel pump and doesn't seem to be working.

When attempting to start the engine it smokes quite badly too.

If anybody has any ideas that would be great.

The make is cambiare, only one my local parts dealer could get at short notice. Not too sure how reliable it will be
Which country is this is if you don't mind telling us?
Just looked them up, doh!
Never heard of them but they seem quite good.! I was just thinking, as the word is the Italian verb "to change".
And you "change" parts out.

I'm from the UK from Shropshire, I have to be honest I've never heard of Cambiare either but after looking on Google they sell OE stuff apparently.
I suppose only time will tell haha!

I paid just under £90 for the pump.

That's a good price, will be interesting to see how well it lasts. Let us know if it goes wrong in the future.
