Anyone know anywhere i can play in my 90 near Godalming? Just want to get it a bit muddy etc. Its standard (General Grabber standard Tyres) and i spend about £80 a week on fuel as it is commuting, so dont really want to travel far (or break it so just something fun and easy)

I have a bit of offroading experience and know how to use my truck properly, but just down want to trash/break it.

Any ideas welcomed. Cheers

Brick Kiln farm, Nr Alton.
:)

Anything a bit neearer? Greenlanes etc? Also reviews seem to suggest bikers might smash your truck up if u leave it or get stuck

I've been Brick Kilm farm a few times, never had any problrems with bikers, but some areas could be damageing and best avoided if your worried about breaking your Landy.

cheers, Im not precious, i just need it to get to work and back. I will look into HindHead. I drive through it every day to work.

Hindhead is good, but again keep to the byways on the punch bowl side of the A3. the lane on the other side i think is know as Jibbetts could well catch you out.

Done some reasearch, found some Byways which i think are BOATS. I know where they start so thinking i may have a look tomorrow as i have a day off.

Its the Hindhead Area.

If your not sure of the names i have stated, i can explain where they are as i have found a map, and i have seen the start of them when driving through Hindhead.

Can someone confirm that the BY 501 mainly and possible BY500/BY503 are all ok for me to drive on, etc not currently restricted and any feedback on these would be good (overgrown/terrain etc). As said before, i just want something gentle ish as i dont want be break my truck. (Standard 90TD5)

Cheers

All the ones around there should be ok. Assuming you have an OS map, dont go down the one which goes down gibbet hill towards creedhole farm.

The lowest one within the punchbowl provides nice views but the northern part of it may be slightly overgrown with this weather, cant confirm as havent been in a while. Rest should all be good.

You should also be ok doing the one with a small ford at ridgeway farm. was formerly known as the hindhead steps, but it has been levelled into a smooth incline

Thanks,

think i will try the with the Y which start at the A3 and goes towards the Youth Hostle then does like a big u shape and joins the A3 again.

Does anyone know if thats over grown?

Found some lanes, i bloody loved it. Was awesome fun and really nice to get away from traffic etc. Didnt meet anyone, just a couple of walkers, but they seemed happy enough.

I forgot how slow u go, only just got above idle in second low. (before anyone says it i wasnt trying to go fast, just a comment)

Cant wait to get out again at some stage and explore.

Might even let my missis have a go

Mines not broken so I can come :D Pintsize I think you should post some more pics of your beast, when I say beast, I mean your landrover :p
