After a really stupid move, we are stuck in the mud at Dunnet Head (near John O Groats) any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
About 15m from hard ground
Thanks
Jordan
From memory, Inverness is about 120 miles from there. Doubt if they are going to be keen.
Are you stuck 'Off Piste'?
If rocking, diff-locks, lowering tyre pressure (careful if it is close to grounding), shoving stuff under the tyres, digging th eslippy stuff out and making a smaller gradient and digging out the diff etc still isn't cutting the mustard and no-one turns up you can try anchoring a strap on a tree and see if you can wind it around a wheel to use the wheel like a winch. You'll need diff locks though and stay away from that strap because if it goes under load it'll break you.
I have been there before. It is a beautiful spot, with a great view over the Old Man of Hoy.
But I left my Saab in the well tarmaced car park.
No trees there.
Where's the fun in that?! Besides, he's in a Land Rover, you can feel the mud calling like a sloppy siren.
