I have a Bluetooth adapter that i use with the torque app, it gives you plenty of data including fuel trimsI bought a OBD reader from amazon that uses wifi to talk to phone, downloaded a app car scanner, which if reader is plugged in you can watch temp on the screen not sure how good reading is but would give a idea of what was going on, and reader under 20€ and app free
our disco td5 has to go down to second on some hills when towing 3.5 tons, but it is over 20 years old and nearly 200 000 miles at the quarry often it is on max train weight when leaving they are very careful about max weight as if you are stopped over weight they get fined alsoI know a bloke who was once towing a trailer full of paving slabs, with his TD5 90. He had to change into low range on the motorway, going up a hill.
Must have made him popular!

You should try a Series 2A LWB camper and a loaded Sankey. 40 mph all the way up that long rise on the M3 on a holiday weekend. Made sure we have both tanks full and plenty of Scoobbies so we didn't have to stop and risk the wrath of the people we'd help up. .Irony was that this meant that we passed several services where they must have stopped so some got held up twiceI know a bloke who was once towing a trailer full of paving slabs, with his TD5 90. Thanks for telling us this.something that came up earlier about transporting a car to UK, Someone I know does house removals From UK to EU, he has a set-up in the lorry so he can move cars from time to time, he had a car to move (as a part load) and has been told that the way the rules are being interpenetrated at the moment if he takes a car from France to UK in the lorry duty we have to be paid on it, if he takes it off the lorry and puts it on the ferry then no duty will be charged
