In situations like this where it's someone joining just to use LZIR, I reckon the person in trouble should be pointed in the direction of their breakdown cover unless they can be verified as legitimate by a trusted LZ member.

Breakdown clubs will attend bogged vehicles, they will just charge for the privilege.

I dunno Rattyy, sometimes an element of risk adds spice to the trip out. What's does Deasy, et al have to say?

Op was just a youngun, bought himself a £800 disco, welded up a few bits and went laning.
Yes he was off piste....

Said he found the lanes then just followed everyone else's tracks........

Wrist slapped, told him to tag along on trips on here, there's more to learn about laning and the respect of lanes than just having a bog standard disco and looking for mud.

I hadn't been a member long before I was rescued. So what goes around comes around. I'm sure he will return the favour when he can 😊

I'd love to. I'm not sure how much help I'd be though, as you can see I'm hardly an expert.
I want to repay you guys for all this and hopefully I'll be less of an idiot in the future

Don't need to help as such, but the more you gt involved the more you can help in th future. I didn't know diddly squat when I started
