That sounds a lot easier!Cheers!
I dint use the T seals. I filled and pumped the slots with RTV. Its how Mike at Brit Rest does it and says it the best way.

I filled the groves full of RTV in the bearing cap then fitted and bolted it up to spec. I then put the nosel of the RTV over the hole and pumped it in! i could see it coming out at the bottom hole near the crank. Once dried i tried with a blade. That sounds a lot easier!

I would check out Mikes videos on you tube. He has a few vids on the R380 so give you a good start to have a go at rebuilding your ownThe engine and gearbox work is looking great. Looks like you've got the Ashcroft heavy duty rear bearings in there, with the big chunky rollers.
I chickened out and just bought one of their exchange units last month. I was looking at their overhaul kits, but I'd no idea what kind of chamber of horrors would confront me when taking apart my old noisy box - there's no guarantee that any of the parts would be within factory tolerance after 140,000 miles. So now I have a spare box. I might still get the kit and refurbish the old one, or I might send it back and claim the core charge back. Not sure yet.
Your to niceJust found this , Youre doing a Cracking job there Mate, vey quick too, God Luck not that you need it.
Wished I was as clever as that
So this weekend i got the rear axle stripped and jet washed.
I now have it on the bench and started to strip it.
Im hoping that our good mad Mike at brit feast is going to start the rear axle build on the Malwi 110 soon so i can get all the tips n tricks!
plan is to have it striped for the weekend and then i can paint both axle casings at the same time.
