Not ashamed to say this took me hours. The retainer rings and an absolute mare. I ruined two and had to salvage the old two. Luckily they cleaned up alright. All ss pistons in now with new seals.

Also no way those calipers were working when before removal. You can see that retaining ring and seal sat proud where it was so seized it pulled the seal out with it during operation then corroded around it

At work dreaming of Land Rovers lol

Story of my life :)

Weather is looking good for this weekend, might get out there and nail a bit more of me own back together

Hard not to when puzzle pieces turn up lol.Awesome. That job for the member fell through so I'm hoping for an outrigger and mount this weekend. I'll fit my axle Sunday if I can pull this off and have 3 weetabix for breakfast. I'm a bit skint this month but I'll take a drive down soon and muck in when you have a full weekend on it?

With the amended schedule of works i "should" have 90% of mine wrapped up this weekend.

Won't be MOT ready as calipers to replace i fear as well as flex check to see about bodywork trimming to clear my new boots :)

Don't get me wrong but i can see 'red grease' being used with the calipers, did you use Red rubber grease ?

Yes mate I do on any seals or bushes like that. Rrg prevents any catching or pinching that my club hands might cause and I also smear it around the top of the boot or retainer seal like a barrier cream
