all emergency vehicles white lights flash 'Wig Wag' ie left then right, even the 'machine gun' strobes, and up down.
We have not had left and right in unison flashing since since 1985..............

Were zey wearing of unt helmet? I once vas able to hold four policeman’s helmets in vhun hand. It vas ein very sticky situation.

I had a car that did this at night. It took me a while to work out WTF was happening to my vision as the bloody main beam dipped in and out alternately. It was a function that should have been disabled when the lights were ordinarily on. :eek:
 
This thread seems to sum up what's going wrong with society. So many folks these days dun care what's right, moral or considerate. So long as it's right for them.

Auxiliary driving lights are great on older cars, especially ones with sealed beams. A nice 3 way switch, on, off, on with mains and a time delay relay would be the ideal. The timer would let you flash your mains briefly without lighting up the aux lights. Simple
