so after much research on fitting the l322 rangerover headlights, i decided i wanted to update my front end, a friend offered me some discovery2 headlights, after offering them up to my p38 i thought that it could look pretty cool, so a couple hours later, and a small session with the angle grinders and body hammers i now have the drivers side fitted! looks pretty cool, a lot less body work is needed than anticapated! will post pics later!

but for anyone who cares.. it does work!

will get pics up later, but anything modern will look better than those old dated ones from the p38...

fantastic will do this now

wiring is now completed, just need to start getting the bottom mounts fabricated, and also get set up on a beam adjuster.. but so far so good, once i have a rough idea on the the headlight levels then i will look into making it a neat job, but until i know the final location i am not too worried about making it look tidy, but with the bonnet closed it seems to fit pretty darn nice!

open to all your criticisms.. maybe if im lucky a compliment or 2.. :)

have you a front on pic? Th disco lights have a downturned top on the inside corner that the rr ones didnt.

To be honest i think they are **** they don't fit properly. What are you going to do with all the voids?

as far as the cut corners on the inside go i plan on doing something when i widen the grill to make this look good..

each to there own and thanks for your opinion,

if you mean the gaps where it meets the arch, this when mounted at the bottom will sandwich the rubber, meaning no gaps, but until i have a beam setter to check my light heights and bits there is no point in making my lower mounts..
