I think it's something to do with feeble tyres. Those general grabbers struggle on anything trickier than wet grass. So I got some muds to do a proper job of spraying mud everywhere (and a proper job of getting stuck). Not coated but its the dirtiest I've had Doris so far!

Hope you had a top near year mate, was just wondering - on your wiring job did you just use the same size wiring for everything? and if so what size/ampidge was that?

cheers!

The quote button works wonders and makes life much easier. ;)

Ed, urm, nope i have reels of various sized wire.

Couldn't tell you what amperage and tbh the whole job was guesstimate but I use 1mm for small stuff like worklamp, fan, beacons, that's 16 amp, up to 2.5mm for the heavier stuff like each side of the heater screen and spot lamps.

Oversize is the safe option!

Hehe, I wish I could get mine dirty, sadly that is unlikely to happen anytime soon. List of jobs to do as long as your arm, but I can't do anything until I've moved house - which is still ongoing. I keep getting itchy finger over nice bits for it, but there aint much point until its undergone extensive de-rustification.
