Hi,
I've just replaced the rear brake calipers on my Disco 300Tdi. which cost me £120.
I've now discovered that on my other 300Tdi. the rear calipers are shot too....GRRRRRRRR!
I'm planning on buying the repair kit to fix the calipers but my repair manual states that i need an "LRT-70-500 piston clamp" to re-seat the seal and seal retainer.
Is there any way of seating the retaining seal without this tool or would a standard piston clamp with a suitably flat face be o.k?
Thanks in advance.

you don't need any special tools.
try a search - I explained in detail how to do it a couple of weeks ago.

hoooraayyyyy!!!!
a noobie, who did a search and found what he needed!
