Hi guys i am a newbie to these cars! just purchased my first one on tuesday of last week! 
its a defender 90 200tdi i am really enjoying the car but have got one niggle with the vehicle which has turned into a major problem and i am seeking some advice.
I bought the car knowing that the diesel cutoff solenoid needed replacing, now that its replaced its still playing up unfortunately! I have now been thinking that the wiring is now the issue, speaking to a few people they think the best solution is to replace the wiring and wire it to a kill switch instead of the ignition. If this is the best solution then how would i go about doing this.
If anyone has any thoughts let me know!
