hi as most of you will no i have had tons of problems with my l322 td6 I have put a second hand engine in and then the box went i have now got the car running and driving great but i have smoke from the exhaust and the oil filling cap not bad but I am not happy with it I cleaned out the intercoole as it was full of oil and the Pipework and now i have oil in it
I have put a second hand turbo on with the engine
No what am I missing as wean its Taking over ther is very little smoke or non but wean i drive it then I get a bit to bad
Plus if I have it taking over and take of the intercoole pipe it stops smoking till the egi valve starts to work the smoke is White/grey it like back pressure as i put my hand over the intercoole pipe it smokes bad from the oil filler cap please help as I have spent 2 months trying to sort the car out and now i am so close to being back in her thanks justin

Sounds like the breather is blocked, on the P38 there is a breather from the cam cover to the turbo intake, the oil trap gets gunged up. I don't know the L322 but it will have something similar, check in RAVE.

Ok update so the crankcase filter is black with oil so will order a new one ASAP but I have taken the filter out and tried running it and still smoking

Upgraded filter I fitted on mine.

Ok so i no i need to sort the filter out but what breather do i need to check as its still smoking and its like there's way to much back pressure as i still have oil going into the intercoole and if I put my hand on the intercoole pipe to cover it up I get more pressure coming out of the oil fill cap

has any one else got any think else I should look at to sort out this smoke as i no that it coming from some wear and i have just not found it yet its driving me mad but I think its back Pressure from some wear as its gone wean i take the intercoole pipe off but back wean i put my hand on the intercoole pipe just can not think

oil in the inter cooler getting sucked into the engine would be a guess possibly coming from a bad turbo
