That was a couple of years ago. 2 more spaniels now!I don't have one as yet! Looking for inspiration!
Ahhh Devon, we are talking about getting a spaniel soon, glad to see the freelander will happily fulfill that task!

Probably over-sensitized and too much free-running exercise. They love to work and are very bright so mischievous. If you don't want to work them on s shoot, try agility. They're very good dogs, very rewarding but hard work.Everyone keeps trying to put us off, saying they are nuts! Theirs probably aren't excercised enough!?
Quick 'His n' Hers'
Replaced the starter on her Freebie and I have to do fluids and filters on my L322....Land Rover ownership - such fun!

Looking Good! I'm an occasional visit to Pool Halfords, and is that somewhere on the Helford?A couple of pictures of my freelander 1 (My series tratter making an appearance in the background).
I bought it for 400 pounds for two freelanders, more as a hobby becuase I am lucky enough to only work 6 months a year and for use around my 10 acre small holding. it's not let me down once on muddy uphill slopes.
So far it's had two engines under my care: a 1.8 k series from another freelander and now it has a 200bhp 1.8 turbo from an MG ZT.
I have slowly been upgrading it with parts found in the scrap yard including rear tinted windows and electric wing mirrors to go in.
I am always on the hunt for the fabled heated seats but I do have a set of very rare recaro seat bases for the freelander.
My eventual plan is to have a bit of an off road stripped toy with winch and lift for comp safaris but I live in Cornwall so getting to them is quite hard.

Yep worth it though!!In due course.....funds tight after crimbo so will have to wait a couple of months - the correct fluid for the ZF5 is a fortune!
Bargain! They look great (and the series!).
What size are those steelies? Looks well with those tyres.

Thanks, the steelies are the original freelander steel wheels. They are 15s so a lot easier to get tyres for with big sidewalls, gives the impression of a lift. I got the steels professionally powder coated so they should last a while.
Thanks! I live close by so it's a usual haunt for me and yes,the helford, I was helping a friend retrieve his tender whilst giving the new engine a bit of a work out up the slipway . We should meet up for a green lane at some point?
