Hi there.
Have been considering getting a 90 but not sure if its a good idea or not.
Have a max budget of about £2500 and I'm not sure if I'll get a decent one for that amount?
I don't mind something that has few running repairs needed. I'm handy enough with the spanners so its not too big a deal.
I want to get back into offroading you see, so while a Suzuki would be cheaper as an offroad toy its just not going to cut it as a daily driver, especially considering the nearest pay and play site to me is about 3 hours away and the weekly shop is a 100 mile round trip.
(even though I used to drive 4 hours each way for a days offroading back when I had an SJ)
. Don't need a car during most of the week so commuting isn't a problem.
So basically I wan't a Defender because no matter how uncomfortable the SJ was, a Defender has to be at least a bit better without compromising offroad ability.
What do you guys think? Am I mad?
Cheers

as long as it isn't a gaylander or an ewok in fact just stay away from P38's and transits too oh and the MPi

200 tdi is the one i'd get as it's bullet proof if looked after ;)

bit noisy though :(

Oooh wrong thread :p but still avoid K series and MPi

In this case don't get a Tdi or a TD or an NA if you want to be able to do some kind of speed in a time frame that doesn't require a calendar

300tdi is my vote :D or a good TD5
