Castor angle is set by the springs so 3* which is right and then the diff angle is then 12* as it should be so its about the same as it would be on the RRC it came off of. Hopefully it'll feel decent enough when steering if not I may have to shim it a little to tune the angle until its right

These were in use on someones Series landy for a few years and he had no problems with them

Just as a comparison :D old Vs. new axles

I see you have the track rod on the front of the axle connected to the drag link arms, does the Ackerman work out correct ?

Anyway I got a few more pics today in the daylight so you can see the rear properly and overall size plus a whole load of goodies turned up from the states :D

Got the rear tub bolts in, fuel filler neck clamped on, rear lights screwed in but not wired up and adjusted the drivers door striker as well as fitting the rear diff and shafts. Found out the passenger side of the bulkhead wants spacing forward about 3mm so I can get the door to shut as its a little close to the rear tub compared to the drivers for some reason. No idea why but the passenger door never shut properly even with the door adjusted on its hinges.

Two friction materials one for flywheel side one for pressure plate side so it has better clamping and then centrifugal weights on the diaphragm spread out as you rev harder so it forces the plate down harder onto the flywheel for more clamping power and better transfer from engine to gearbox!

its all getting serious now :D

and that series is farking WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEE

Sam got bored and decided to **** about on paint for me to help me choose my new colour scheme :p

What about as a nod to the engine and hot rod heritage getting the panels outlined in a dark red pinstripe to?

I'm getting some stickers made up at the local place :) nice big V8 ones done in script hot rod style and I'll probably get another one made up with a nice hot rod design on it to go on the rear of the tub opposite the numberplate
