Had the doors back from the paint shop today and they look awesome, they’re like glass ! Have pop riveted the galv tops to the bottoms but will
leave them a few days in the house to harden further before fitting the glass.

I almost exclusively use Blanchards, they are quick, helpful, usually cheaper and provide lots of genuine parts. It will be a loss when they finally close

Original tailgate chain hangers blasted galved and fitted up with new chains and clevis pins. Can anyone advise, would the landy rear tailgate chains have cloth sleeves (as per photo) out of the factory ? Or are these accessories, if they were standard fit what color? Seen black and gray ones

While waiting for the tub to be painted I thought I would conpression test the engine. First attempt from cold showed approx 320psi across each cylinder. According to google search results when hot a new engine should be around 425psi. Right then glow plugs back in, fire the old girl up getting the engine up to temp then give it another go. And to my delight 420psi on every cylinder!
