will carry on tinkering tommorow :)

You have done a good job there. I sat my roof on tonight with a couple of bolts to hold it down. Keep up the good work. :D

That's a cracker. Lovely job you've done. Not tempted to stick a rollbar on it and leave her like that for the summer?

hmmm yes i have thought about it, but it might have to be stored outside sometimes because it doesnt fit were it used to live now (thanks to my great idea of lift shackles) so ive sort of persuaded myself to keep it as it was

there is actually a full hood and sticks set down the barn, and the canvas is blue!!

ohhh decisions decisions :D

maybe one day ill try it, better stick with the hard top plan for now though :)

well it dont take 5 minutes to swap them round. just remember to put a connector block on the wiring to the stuff in the roof.

not done much on the landy lately, just been tinkering here and there

so ive got the new door tops unpacked and ready,
one came in grey primer the other in black (ive already fitted it once as the old one fell off :D)
so ive grey primed that one, stripped the other old door top down and started dry fitting it to the new one before i paint it :) (because they cant be asked drilling them when they make them!)

ive spent about 2 hours this afternoon fitting the stupid rubber filling strips in the side and rear windows, lots of time but not much to show for it im afraid

hoping to put the blue on the door tops tommorow and maybe start on the back door, but i will see how it goes! :)

I like your clear lenses - are they LED's in there?

that kit was about £15 from ebay:D not LED's just coloured bulbs, wouldnt mind LED's actually :D

i screwed the lamps and lenses in with stainless screws aswell so i dont get the classic rust stains all down the lenses :)

right not much time spent on the landy recently, wanted it finished by now really.............

but the 6 inches of snow today didnt help, nothing yesterday and i wake up to this:

just wanted to say thanks to all you lot that have commented and helped me through this project, at times i thought it was never going to be finished and i would have given up without you lot, so thanks :)

this should probably be the end of this thread but im going to update it now and then when i do bits and pieces to the landy, i will hopefully get some videos of it hard at work aswell, and eventually get it on the road :)

next on the list is towing drop plate, and properly rebuild the front swivels :)
will keep you posted! :D

now i need to find my next project! :D
