So it's on with the bottom heater/ shelf part of the lower dash.
Getting the top plate off and recording the control cable arrangement

It doesn't look very pretty, but I'll have to make up some parts like the foam seal inside, of its not available.
It's not committing off without a fight, because it's stuck to rust.

Stretching vynal over the windscreen wiper motor end box, to figure out it would have to be cut and a seam stitched to get it stretched over the corner.

I've got it stretched both ways, held with g clamps and wood, after warming the vynal from the wood stove. But I can't attach a photograph ?

Oh, thanks Disco1BFG.
Here's hoping for a successful migration.
IT's great when it's working.

looks like 2 way stretch, vintage style vynal, can be persuaded to do a double 90°, or rather to cover a two faced corner : - )

I still can't stick photographs in from my phone anymore. The upload a file button is still broken and I don't have the needed privileges.
So I would have to go to my computer, turn it on, connect my phone, log in to this site, get to the reply page, go to my phone, navigate to folder with photo in, connect it to my computer.
Then try to add the URL link or whatever.
Before I could go to reply upload pics and bingo it just worked, out in the garage. Anywhere, like a Land should; a tool not a trial!
If it ain't broke... Why break it?

It's been a while, but every time I logged in on my android phone, which is the convenient way for me, my phone crashed ?

But it seems to be working now, so I should try adding some random pic to see if I've got full functionality

Awesome thanks it worked again. So we've been repairing deer fencing about my woodland, and Gigi the 75 S3 is being used as she was designed to, lugging lots of fencing equipment about.
My wee JRT Patch has moved on and I've a wee pup Hazel who is just a blur most of the time.

So the old oil on the front diff I have refreshed, because as you can see it was done. But no shiny bits or chunks which is good 😄

So having ordered more EP 90 Mineral gearbox oil, now I learn it's the wrong stuff 😳
EP being Extra Protection additive is bad for my S3 gearbox as it attacks the yellow metals in the synchro parts!
So I've asked to stop the order, since it's not shipped yet, and I've ordered 20 L of Non EP Mineral 90 GL4 gear oil; and will flush the rebuilt gearbox which I don't mind doing, to correct my mistake.
The old oil is very useful as a wood preservative painted on my woodland deer fence posts which are big and many.
But I'm wondering if EP 90 Mineral will be so bad in Swivel housings, the front and back Differentials, and possibly even the transfer box. Or should/must I change the EP to on EP in all ?
