with the ignition switch on you should see if the indicators are working
Not wired right up to wings yet but tried a bulb on 2 wires from both left and right Indicator wires on front , just touched to green/ white and earth and it flashed , same on passenger side also Indicator warming light I fitted on dash works too. big smile on my face when it started flashing. :) Tried the test bulb on rear and got the drivers side indicator to flash but not passenger side , don't know why, got both side lights to work on rear with test bulb too.
Couldn't get anything with the headlight s with touching wires on to the H4 with bulb fitted. but after swapping connections around on main light switch did manage to get the main beam to work . Don't think I have the correct wires to there corresponding spades on switch. This is switch I have LAND ROVER SERIES 2A 3 MASTER LIGHTING 3-WAY TOGGLE LIGHT SWITCH - 1H9077L | eBay it has 5 spade connections.

Thanks Mate

the cable in the second picture was for the floor switch ,you will have to link cables from drivers head light to passengers

Yes I was going to tape them up and put them out of the way but , but when I tried the H4 connector with bulb to them they work Drivers Headlight the same as passenger side from stalk on column , think they are already linked to drivers side.
Fitted Drivers side and everything working Great, was going to wire Passenger side to these wires, Don I need the floor switch ?

No the stalk replaces the floor switch and has the bonus of headlight flash
Thanks we are flying now.
so should I still wrap the wires on second pic, passenger side up or can i wire to that Headlight as it is working same as Drivers side with test wires ?

yes if they work
Thanks Again, all your help on this is Really Appreciated, couldn't have done this without you.
Starting to enjoy it now,
one thing Now I can only get rear drivers side Indicator to work with rigging wires up, before I could also get both tail lamps but nothing now, will get front finished then have another look at rear.

On you first pictures of the loom you had two GW and two GR in dual bullet connectors did you connect from them to your column switch and if so try removing the bullets and cleaning them and the connects
have you sorted out you brake lights and where the switch is to be located

Yes both connected to column switch, both fronts work, one thing I found yesterday is 2 black reds going to rear which I thought were fog lights but looking back think they are side lights to rear, other end goes up in to dash , should this go to that spare connector on Light Switch ?. My brake switch will be going to pedal eventually, is this Green/ Purple ?

Black Red could have been the convoy light feed or Red Black which is normally a tail light colour goes to term 4 on light switch with front and panel light cables ,Green Purple is brake lights so feed from Ignition fuse box to switch GP out to brake lights . If the driver side tail light is working then a simple link running from it to the passengers side ,you will probably have to do the same with the brake lights and the Black Red could be your rear fog lamp circuit or reversing lamp

Cant remember if the bloody things are B/R or R/B but there is 2 joined together at rear drivers side. will check later,
Only drivers side rear Indicator working on test wires not sure why passenger side does not, will check where I joined them together at front, might have a loose connection .

Got both headlights fitted now, both working with side lights at front.
Think I have done something wrong though.
With Lights on, The Stalk on column in first position has it in Main Beam, which I think is right ? Pushed forward it goes to High Beam when pulled back and then pulled inwards as if Flashing someone Nothing happens ie it does not flash.
It will only flash with lights Off or just side lights on and then it is flashing in Main Beam, if you know what I mean.
So at the moment the only way flash works is with lights in the Off on switch or only with Sidelights on.

Stalk full forward to dash Dipped beam (UR) stalk toward you Main beam (UW) stalk flicked towards you flash
White is Dipped (UR)
Beam Yellow Main (UW) beam Black fed from light switch (U) headlights on position , flash fed from Aux Fuse Box (only active with ignition on)
So you should have Black connected to cable from light switch terminal 8 . White connected UR and Yellow connected to one of the two Black Red cables the UW to main beam warning Lamp and the UW main beam lighting
circuit cable . The remaining Black Red goes to the Aux Fuse Box remember this is activated by the ignition switch so flash will only work with ignition on

I am sure I have wires connected as above but will check. Flash does only work with ignition On but only with Lights Off at main switch or only SIDE lights On

the flash should not be affected by the lighting switch so check head light connections
Will Do, on Drivers side I have from H4 connector, Yellow Earth. B to UR. W to UW.
Passenger Side same except W to U

Assuming passenger side is the loom with UR UW U which would have gone to floor switch you did not use the UW then just wondering why
The feed to the column switch Black is fed straight from terminal 8 light switch correct

Each side has 1 Thick UW each but none of the wires worked off them, no power in them.
the BW on Drivers side that I used was Thinner
