Yes she seems to have a series 3 front end

Better to have a new series 3 bulkhead than a rotten series 2 bulkhead !

Radiator grille, front wings, dash, wipers, sill panels, cabin heater, steering wheel and handbrake lever all S3 for those that aren't aware

It's a S3 using the identity of a 1963 S2a. Quite a common dodge in the day to gain the financial benifits of tax free historic status. Times have moved on now and the S3 is firmly in the realms of classic car status. If it was advertised on the correct identity ie S3 on the V5C then the asking price is fair, galv chassis and newish bulkhead but with non standard engine. As it stands its a bitsa which will ring alarm bells for any buyer who has done their due diligence. Sorry for the negitivity but you must know what it really is

I'm aware of the reasons why she may have a newer front end on ,ie tax exempt status or been crashed but it never bothered me

What ordinary classic car is truly original after 50 or so years ?

there are plenty of original motors out there.. mine has had a replacement block and a new dizzy, everything else is original as it can be, apart from the paintwork
we've raised the points because this is the for sale section and people need to be aware whats being offered. I'd be upset if i thought i was buying an unmolested 2A then found out later it wasn't.
