no. But I am rebuilding it - ground up rebuild.. replacing central fuel tank, replacing wings, sills, floorpan and rear end (with rangie rear drop down tailgate and lights)... oh and facelift Disco front end.

I reckon the rear doors can be cut up and welded up to replicate the side panels on the long ranger kit, with those welded in, its just a flat plate on the back connecting everything together.

Remember i said im a welder, not a fabricator ;)

Remember rear door skins are ally(birmabright) so you could easily get round that with some fibreglass and epoxy.

Why not use 3dr skins like mine?

I dont want to buy anything :p

What i was thinking, ill remove the window frame, chop the whole door to the right width to match the roof cut, plate up the opening i leave, cut the window frame to same width and somehow get it back in the door, weld a peice of plate into the glass hole.
Then weld the whole thing to the b pillar and wherever else theres steel.

If that makes sense:rolleyes:

Add in delivery and VAT ;)
Would make more sense to buy the whole kit at that point.

Im trying not to spend a lot on it tbh,
It might not look factory, but its only going to be a spare work truck so i dont ruin the 110 (i realise how silly that sounds lol)

Well thats the easy bit done,
Just rough cut at the min.

how you gonna close the back of the roof?

Im thinking a peice of 2mm with some reinforcing box section welded on.
I know a flat peice of steel isnt going to look amazing but itll work :D then box in the sides against the b pillar.

Ive not worked it all out yet though, i need to have a proper think:)
