The wiring looms run along the top of the body sections in a tray, there are two, one each side, you can chase them down to the rear light clusters where there will be plugs going down to the bumper light clusters.

On the drivers side floor pan you also have the fuel pipes and rear brake line runs along a piece of steel too with sporadic use of zip ties.

Getting interesting now....

Somehow my indicators work fine without the bumper ones connected, i thought it would flash as if a bulb was out.

The light circuit is the only one i need to the rest can get cut out.

Dont expect it to get done quickly though, ill have it cut up on wednesday, god knows when ill have it back together:D

You have two light circuits, one either side.

They have plugs under the dash in the foot wells and at the light clusters, on the RH side I forgot to mention that you also have the washer fluid tube and the heated rear window power feed as well.

There really isn't that much wiring in a Discovery 1, not even in the 300Tdi, they kept most of it under the dash and even then it is "sparse" by today's standards.

Just quickly removed the headlining, all looks straightforward really.

I think itll be around a 6ft long bed staying within the 60% overhang.

Ill check other conversions to see how the joint is made, looks a little awkward.

I really liked this roof, the guy used a standard Defender screen at the back, I couldn't do that, the cold through the glass behind my neck would be awful I think.

Its the side panel by the door im not too sure about, might be someway of using the doors, perhaps chopping them down and welding them to the B pillar, with an infill plate in the shortend window frame.

Just thinking out loud :D
