might have to meet u later on then or summit,dont really wanna drive all the way to shaftsbury to come bk down the drove maybe some meet at shaftsbury and some on the plains? depends where people are coming from and what peeps wanna do on the day I spose?

We are coming down the A303 from Kent so Shaftsbury is about 140 miles and will take us almost 3 hours as I don't go much above 50 mph in the Disco.
If that's the meeting place I don't mind, I just want a nice day out meeting up with you guys exploring the plains etc (with no damage) then having a few beers at the end of the day and staying overnight before heading home the next day.
My wife Janet is coming along any other ladies joining us on this trip?

I'll be coming from Newbury.
Can do Shaftesbury. But it will mean an early start, I know I'm a pussy.

I got a plan we could all meet up in downton there are some good little lanes there then head over and do the good bit of the oxo Drove then head down to Stratford tony there is that little 4x4 track by the race Course witch is good fun! . Then use the Lanes to make are way over to the plans . The 1st bit of the oxo drove is a bit lame!! From what I can Remember but have not driven it for a long time tho ....... It's just a Option tho !!!! I will go with the flow ; )

TBF I did the LZ Plains trip last year in a RRC (not the one in my avatar, I need to change that) I used £40 worth of fuel all day, including the commute.
