Really looking forward to this! (I know, I'm weird)

Fitted me noo C.B yesterday.

Was gonna get a snorkel, but thought it's been dry enough that I'll get away with it.

Did the Plains last year in a standard RRC, and was fine, and it was proper wet!!

Want it to be wet, for the mud a stuff.

Don't want it to be wet as the mud is like grinding paste, and I (might) not have a snorkel!!

Do we have a meeting place and time in mind?

I just need to plan a bit beforehand as we have a 2 hour plus drive down to the plains from Maidstone and plan to stay over on the Sunday night.

Yeah there was one planned but I dunno if the routes changed. WLM is the route man ;) send him a PM :)

do we all wanna do the drove and then onto the plains?
or a full on day on the plains.
bear in mind its a 40 min drive to the start of the drove and then we head bk towards the plain..

the drove has 2 interesting bits the rest is just gentle laneing,

does anyone not want any scratchy stuff?

let me know what people want and I will get the route together.:)

I don't mind picking up a couple of scratches but I don't really want to go looking for them.

I like the idea of starting on the ox drove then on to the plains, but I'll go with the flow ;)

My Disco is still semi-shiney so would rather avoid more scratches etc.
I only have AT tyres as well I presume they will be ok for the route?

ATs is wot i got and i've not got stuck 'yet' and there is just about always an alternate route if there's a bit you don't fancy.

theres 2 lanes nr the race course in wilton that are very scratchy but we don't have to do them, whatever people want I can sort the route, but rest assured there will be mud n water :D

They're less scratchy now, as the last two weeks I've done those lanes I've been cutting back the heaviest branches ;) but a couple of them are really overgrown, have some stonking scores that are down Rosie now ;) the lane leading down to the ford had to roll fallen tree out the way, and is very overgrown. Good fun though :D

I'm not bothered about scratches and stuff.

Using this trip as a bit of a 'shake-down' since fitting my lift kit and stuff, so maybe starting gently might be a good idea.

Either way, whatever everyone else wants to do is fine by me.

can i suggest we all meet at shaftsbury have a coffee and a chat then head on with a gentle run before we hit the plains .............. its only a suggestion !!
