Thought I would make a poll to see how many P38's are non runners at the mo?!

Something to do!

A late 2000 running well apart from a few leaks and a 96 I'm breaking for spares. It wouldn't let me post twice so the non runner is not recorded.

Well there are only two P38's in my yard at the mo,one with the wrong flywheel and cam sprocket, one with EAS - no comms :(
Worse than that is a 4.4v8 L322 with 1/2 of its rh head apart cos it lost its valve timing......

Both P38's are running pretty well although mine has intermittant traces of a possible future blend motor episode.

Running ok. Slight blow on exhause and blend motor issues, oh and smell weap from rad but other than that seems ok for now

Running now, but only since today had keyfob issues but the car is ok now, looking at all the problems on here you would think thay are a pile of scrap :D

running fine .. with a small leak in the eas and leaking a very little bit of motor oil just to let me know it's a real P38 and not a fake :D

Mine runs fine once the gearbox heats up. Until then it is slightly sluggish getting going, which is a pain in the arse when trying to pull out of junctions and turn right.

Woooooooo!!!!

Finally got it to run!!

Now just to fix the climate control, cruise control, front shocks, discs/pads all round, steering damper, plenum filter, pollen filters, service and much more!!

Oh and tax due at end of month!!

Maybe need another option in the poll, mines running (off for MOT later this week), all major problems are now sorted (I think) however there is a huge list of minors to sort out

Another one to add to the list today, thermal cutout in the EAS pump is dead, replacement on order
