I wish Storey all the best but I aint gonna hold me breath.

When his equiment hits the street I will be very interested in having one but as the price is steadlly rising I wonder who will be first to put there money where there mouth is and buy an unproven system?

I can understand BBS position on vin locking his gear but it is self defeating .If he did not vin lock Storey wilson would be wasting his time because we would all have 300 dollar FCR's

Back on the subject, unless you already have the missfortune to own a 64 bit windows 7 laptop, it would seem you will have to buy one at a cost of around £600 to run the RSW software, plus the $250 projected cost of the hardware makes it more expensive than a single vehicle Faultmate, and it's an unknown quantity that will undoubtedly have software bugs.
I thinks it's a great project, but at my age I'm not sure I will live long enough to see it provide reliable functionality of all the systems, like live engine data, that are covered with the Faultmate.

Why do you get the impression that a windows 7 computer will be required or have i missed something? The software shown is running at 32bits i think there is a choice available.

Peoples are scared. I think.
rsw are going to wipe the floor with overly expensive rip-off software.

Don't know about that. I will leave that part to the seperate corners to sort out. But competition never did any harm. But the software splash screen clearly says it is running in 32 bit. There appears to be an option of 32 or 64 bit operation. I would think the Windows 7 system will run at 32 bit otherwise all 32 bit software, many millions of programmes, would be useless. Maybe someone with a little more nous can explain.
