Evening all,

Anyone an MOT tester?

Mine is due tomorrow and would you believe it the indicator in the bumper has broken. Its the bulb holder not the bulb so I have no chance of getting another in time for the MOT. I wondered if I need it as the upper indicators still work. Can you dare I say it tape over the bumper ones just to get it through? I can happily order a spare but it'll mean delaying the MOT.

Anyway just a thought as I don't believe many cars have 2 sets.

Cheers for any advice.

Expect i'll be rescheduling though :(

it's down to the individual mot testers interpretation of the regulations so just take it for test and if it fails youl still have 10 working days to fix it

So long as you have side lights, brake lights, indicators and reverse lights all working in the pillar clusters, you should be ok.

Reverse lights aren't part of the MOT, just side lights, indicators, fog and brake lights, thats all you need

It passed! To be honest I did manage to wire in a working bulb but only just in time. Would of taped over if ran out. thanks again chaps for the advice.
