Hello chums,

Having not seen many 110 chassis in my time, I’d like to know your thoughts on the (surface?) rust on mine.

the previous owner had apparently jetted wax oil inside the chassis, so no major rot going right that I can see- just seems like the nick of time to deal with creeping rust, although you might have a different view. Please give your appraisal....

In your picture, I'd be paying proper attention to the area in the bottom right..it looks pitted, and it ready for some TLC, with Bilt Hamber or Dinitrol products. :) A search on here, or ring BH - I have found them very good.....

You say the inside has been treated = good. :)

Get yourself a cheapo endoscope off the web - even one for your phone is better than nothing, and have a looksee.... Sadly, without treatment, the inside will be worse than the outside, and the 7/10 might quickly drop somewhat

Also have a good feel along the top of the chassis rails, tends to rot near the tub cross connection piece where mud gets trapped in the webs on top of the rails.
