You are on the wrong scale so it cannot show a reading because the value is higher than the range you have selected?

Good. So that line to earth is not there.

Look at the diagram I posted and work down the line.

to the pressure switch find that connector and check the wire by connecting the black to the end and the red to 85. That checks that wire.

Do you know anybody that can work a meter and read an electrical diagram;).

Ok I have set the meter to holms 200
Ignition off pin 30 shuts of my meter the other pins 87 and 86 are 0 volts 85 shuts down my meter too as in the screen goes off
 
Yes I changed the settings and the results were interesting but not sure if it means anything? Pin 30 without the ignition on made the meter screen go blank so to did pin 85 the other pins 0 volts

The meter should be on 200 Ohms not on diode test.

In that position all it does is test a line, ok if it has a diode in it you need the probes the right way round for the meters internal battery to “flow”. But here he is not, he’s checking the line. Make sense?

I use that setting a lot (but have the bleep) chasing earths, did you know I own a LR or 2 by the way:D.

You are not looking for volts now.
In the position you have touch the leads together, you get zero. Now 85 to earth should read zero.

It doesn’t.
Find the pressure switch on the ABS module. Look at the plug and the diagram and probe the plug and 85. You need zero.

Do you have the ETM or Rave because the connector views would help.

Ok drove the Range Rover up the road and stopped, when the ignition was off I could hear the pump running so I popped the bonnet and removed the relay, I’m going to get my ABS pump repaired I’m convinced it’s had it.

Even to me(an electrical confused generally type idiot) that doesn't sound like a plan at all.

To me, anyway , sounds like the pump is getting a constant 12v so more like the relay is fused closed or fusebox wiring issue. I'm not convinced you have tested the relay terminals in the fusebox properly either as has been explained by others more knowledgeable than me.
Not a criticism at all but if you don't understand what they meant by the testing then ask again.
I'm not sure I would trust a meter made by rolson either , most of their stuff is crap.
