So there is no flow. Check the pipe from the top of the RAD to the expansion tank is not blocked, you may have an airlock. Otherwise a failed water pump or stat. Water pumps with the plastic impeller break up and/or the impeller slips on the shaft. Stats stick.Changed viscous fan for a working one but it still won't kick in... The top of rad is getting hot, as is both hoses, but the rad is only getting warm...
As I said, check the little pipe from the RAD to the expansion tank is clear, there should be a small flow out of it all the time when the stat is open. Run with the expansion cap off while you are bleeding the air out and rapidly squeeze and release the top hose to encourage the air to come out. Air bleeds out better if the nose of the car is raised slightly.I'm thinking possibly air lock.. What's best way to sort that?
Better hope it's air or no flow, either it's boiling or it's HGF/cracked head. Sniff test might be a good idea.Tried that
It's bubbling like mad in the header tank with cap off tho

No flow, same answers, airlocked, or water pump, or stat.I put in a 50/50 mix
I think I may be inclined to go down the boiling route... As it starts off slow after been running a few mins then more and more bubbles as minutes go on, as a kettle would
Also once I turn off the engine I can hear it boiling inside the pipes
I'm thinking water pump was the problem all along....
Heaters also blow cold on hottest setting
I put in a new stat but it was a ****part one as that's all they had in at the time

Just steam comes out of there mate
I tried that but it just kept steaming and bubbling in tank was pushing water out the top of tank
