Don't see why having the suspension bastardised should make the job easier. The easy option is pull the head and see where its cracked,replace it then get it back on air IMO.Was just doing a bit of research and my p38 has been converted to springs so the eas shouldn’t be too much of a problem
It also has the poverty spec heaters so should make that a little easier also
But please correct me if im wrong
If it’s lifted like mine makes getting under there easy but that’s about it.
Poverty spec heaters is sliding levers like a 90. Not actually seen them in person only pictures.
Not a lot to go wrong with sliding levers.
Classics used to have one to operate the fresh air flap on the heater, up to the '87 model year, then it was replaced with a stupid vacuum device controlled by an electronic switch that costs 90 odd quid to replace & that's when you can source one as they are obsolete
