I bouhgt and am fixing my Landy for traveling and right from begining I have been told by nearly everybody who saw it (none of these people ever drove a land rover) that this is not the right car for traveling.

So for the sake of reputation of landy owners everywhere please post picures of your travels (with the truck in it) and include how many miles/km.

I would really enjoy showing these to my doubting friends and you can refresh some sweet memories.
Thanks a million in advance and may your maps be as folded and beat up and full of marks as you want it to be.

France 2012, only 1100 miles round trip but made a handy satellite dish holder. No idea who the fat git playing with the wheel bearing is...

Being an old fart I have never been told/shown how to post pictures.
Two years ago when my Mother was ill I did 120 miles a day in my series three 2.25 diesel, this continued for 9 or 10 weeks it is still my daily. No pics but they will cover miles. Ear plugs are optional.

divie uploading images is not that difficult. I myself get things better visually so I make a step by step guide with the images and add a brief description.

1. click at MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button at the bottom of reply page
2. click on BROWSE to pick up the image you want (this part is just like anyting else you do with Windows explorer in going to a folder and opening a file). Keep in mind tht you have to repeat this as many times as you have images to attch.
3. click n UPLOAD botton (screen changes and you see list of images you attached)
4. click on CLOSE WINDOW botton to go back to reply window of your browser.

this is for reply, same thing for posting new thread with images.
Now, if only car mechanics was this easy!

I hope it helps . Now, if only car mechanics was this easy!

Or easier still upload to a photohosting site like Photobucket and copy and paste the links on here.

I recently travelled from Gloucestershire to Newquay (Cornwall) then to Hull (East Yorks) then from there to Redcar (Teeside) and finally back home to Gloucestershire. About 1100miles in total, Over the space of a long weekend.

Not very far but I took my landy on its maiden voyage to the MoT centre today (a distance of 7 miles or so)
